Her split with Max Drummey is mutual and amicable, she said in joint a statement.
The teenage daughter of Sir Bob Geldof wed the 24-year-old in Las Vegas last August, a month after they met.
"After much soul-searching we have made the mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways," their statement said.
It added that no one else was involved.
The 19-year-old's spokeswoman said Peaches would focus on media and fashion projects in London and New York, while her ex would continue with his band, Chester French.
Late last year Peaches admitted her shock wedding might not last.
She told a magazine: "I didn't go into it with Max thinking, 'This is going to last forever'."
Her father thought she was "a bit silly" to marry so young, she added.
It's totally unconfirmed, but The Times of India reported a few weeks ago that Peaches was spotted getting quite cozy with a female companion. Here's what was reported:
Peaches Geldof, it seems, has given up on men. The socialite was recently spotted at a loft party "getting very cozy with another girl.”
According to New York Post sources, the Nylon magazine writer was seen getting “comfy” with a girl at a bash in Bushwick.
At the party "power lesbian" deejay Lauren Flax was spinning.
